Ok, he's not Russian but this proves that he's not a machine, he's a man. A potentially historic season by Albert Pooh Holes was thwarted by an oblique injury. One third of the way through the season he had 25 homer and 65 RBI (pace for 75 and 195). He definitely won't approach those magic numbers, even if he is only out for two weeks (he could miss as much as a month and a half). It may also hinder his pursuit of a more amazing but more insignificant statistical achivement.
Check out his at bat totals for his career so far:
2001: 590
2002: 590
2003: 591
2004: 592
2005: 591
I could not make this up, but the odds of something like that are astronomical.
