Who Are These Guys?
Player A - 10 innings 4 hits 0 walks 0 runs 10 strikeouts 7 saves Player B - 10 innings 1 hit 2 walks 0 runs 10 strikeouts 6 saves
Player A is Rivera, Player B is Wagner. I actually don't watch Miked Up. The reason I came up with this one is because I heard the last out of each game Sunday and heard the announcers.
Howie Rose on Wagner: "He has been literally unhittable up until this point. But he said eventually he's going to hang a slider and he knows he's going to get booed."
John Sterling on Rivera: "Mo has faced 34 batters and gotten 30 of them out. That's near perfect (John Sterling patented chuckle). I mean you can't be more perfect than that. (chuckle)."
And then Sterling went on even more in the postgame show. The stats are basically the same, but the treatment of them by the announcers was drastically different.
B. is Billy Wagner, not sure about A
