I have been known on Facebook to punctuate particularly fun days with a status update reading "I didn't even have to use my AK," one of the final lines from Ice Cube's classic "It was a Good Day."
Turns out I am not the only one to use this song to express a particular feeling or emotion. Superhot SI Swimsuit model Ariel Meredith did it on twitter. And responded to me reply:
she's extremely hot. But why follow a random model?
ReplyDeleteThat's pretty cool. Can you give us a quick recap of every celebrity who you've had a direct twitter/facebook/text transaction with?
ReplyDeleteShe's not random, I saw her in the SI swimsuit issue. But what most likely happened is someone I do follow retweeted something funny or interesting from Ariel Meredith so I checked her out and decided to follow her too.
ReplyDeleteNot sure how to take this other comment. If you don't like hearing about my experiences probably the worst thing you can do is read this blog. But the comment is anonymous from somewhere in Maryland so I can't be sure who said it or how they meant it.
Funny, that comment was 100% me, and I accidentally submitted without putting my name. I'm definitely in NYC btw, internet traffic locations are very inaccurate apparently. And (of course) it was a totally honest request, because I love these interactions, and know I've forgotten a few. Sorry if it came off as complete sarcasm.
