The Judge Has a Grudge
Obnoxious teenager Penelope Soto was picked up by the cops in Miami when she crashed her bike while high on Xanax. Police discovered 26 more Xanax pills or "bars" as they are called on the street. She appeared in front of the judge at a bail hearing.
Awesome!
I totally agree with Judge Jorge Rodriguez-Chomat for smacking this young punk down. She was not being serious, or respectful.
"It's worth a lot of money" "Like what" "Like Rick Ross."
He should have held her in contempt after that answer.
But then the "adios" and finally the "fuck you."
Hopefully this dumb slut will use her 30 days in the hoosegaw to reflect on her behavior and come out a rehabilitated young lady.

A Fool And His Money Are Soon Parted
Sharon Osgood wired $5,900 to a man in Florida in exchange for 4 Super Bowl tickets. Instead she got an envelope with a piece of paper with a picture of both Super Bowl quarterbacks on it. The message underneath read: "Enjoy the game!!!! Go Ravens!!! LOL."
I'm sorry Osgood got robbed (and it is a crime) but I don't really feel badly for her because she should have fuckin better known better.
1) She bought them on Craiglist
2) She was asked to wire the money
3) The seller lived in Florida but claimed to be a Ravens season ticket holder
4) The seller couldn't go to the game because his wife is 8 months pregnant
All of those things combined should have made it a dead giveaway that this was a scam.
To make matters worse, this moron is now getting rewarded for being such a dupe. The CEO of Ticketmaster is giving her 4 tickets. That's a very bad message to send, be a moron, don't worry if you get scammed, just get some media attention for your plight and someone will pity you.
I say let Mrs. Osgood and all other fools out there learn this lesson the hard way. Tough love.

Free the Leash Kids
An Alabama woman was arrested and charged with first-degree cruelty to children.
Melissa Catherine Smith-Means was observed by customers and employees at a Verizon store in Alabama, dragging a small child around by a backpack leash. The child had visible marks on the neck from the incident.
The video hit youtube:
That caused a heated debate among parents and people who have never tried to wrangle an unruly child who kept running away or refused to walk.
We got Chase a leash because it truly is for his own safety. His favorite word is "hiding" so he is constantly running away to duck behind clothing racks.
Sure we get the occassional dirty look for treating our child like a naughty puppy, but our piece of mind is worth it.
Chase actually loves his leash and constantly calls for his monkey and asks to put it on.
Obviously I think the mother in this video went a little too far but I hope she doesn't give a bad name to all the leash-using parents.

Tough Love or Too Much?
When California Highway Patrol Officer Eric Newbury visited El Camino High School on May 26, he had some bad news.
He told students that 17-year-old senior Brittany Bennett, editor of the school newspaper was killed by a drunk driver.
Newbury read a brief eulogy, placed a rose on Bennett's seat, then left the students, some in tears, to think about the death of their classmate.
Newbury went to several classrooms telling kids the same thing.
An hour later all the students were called to the football field and told the whole thing was a hoax. Bennett did not die, nor did any of the other students whose names Newbury used to make his hoax hit home.
Newbury said that if even one student thinks twice before driving drunk, the scare he put in the kids was worth it.
Some parents complained that the kids have been traumatized, Newbury says "what I'm doing is waking them up.
“If I sit there and lecture somebody in a nice way, it's going to go in one ear and out the other,” he said. “In today's world, where they have all sorts of gore and fantastic things that kids can access on the computer, if you want to compete with that, you have to jar them emotionally.
“I want them to be an emotional wreck. I don't want them to have to live through this for real.”
Newbury's father was killed by a drunk driver.
The program, titled “Every 15 Minutes,” was designed by Mothers Against Drunk Driving. Its title refers to the frequency in which a person somewhere in the country dies in an alcohol-related traffic accident.
More people die in traffic accidents each year than have died during the entire 5 years of the Iraq war.

Tough Love
Jane Hambleton bought her 19 year old son a used car over Thanksgiving.
She gave it to him with 2 rules: No booze and always keep it locked.
Assuming it goes without saying that he had to abide by all state laws (don't speed, wear a seatbelt, use a hands free device when talking on the phone), she still allowed other behaviors that perhaps a mother would deem undesirable such as eating potato chips and leaving crumbs or getting roadhead.
When she found a bottle of alcohol under the front seat (her son says a passenger was drinking it) she decided to sell the car. This is the ad she placed in the paper:
"OLDS 1999 Intrigue. Totally uncool parents who obviously don't love teenage son, selling his car. Only driven for three weeks before snoopy mom who needs to get a life found booze under front seat. $3,700/offer. Call meanest mom on the planet."
She says she sold the car, and received lots of calls congratulating her for her actions. I'm sure she'll get one from noted tough love advocate jusTON.

Tough Love
A soccer mom, upset at her teenage daughter’s performance at a game Saturday, stopped along Interstate 80 and left her there.
The woman yelled at her 15-year-old in her car and asked her to repeat lines about improving her performance. When the girl messed up the lines, she slapped her. Finnell said the teen told her mom to pull over along I-80 near the downtown exit, so she did. That’s when the girl says her mom yelled at her to get out. She did and her mom drove away.
A teammate’s parent saw the girl and took her to their home, where they called police.
