Apparently, people actually believed that was an authentic, genuine marriage proposal and it went viral on the internet. Now the team is confirming what all people with functioning bullshit detectors, immediately knew, the proposal was a fake. It was completely staged by the team's marketing department. And they are not apologizing for it, they're saying it worked great.
