SnoopCenter

I think Snoop Dogg might be slipping. He appeared on SportsCenter and had a pretty poor showing when asked to freestyle.

That was almost as bad when he was freestyling with Paris Hilton. Would it have killed him to throw in a couple athlete references like this classic freestyle from John Cena.

Rap Battle

I think Paris Hilton may actually have taken our boy Snoop in this battle.

I Hope He Can Find a Baggy Enough Orange Jumpsuit

Snoop Dogg will spend 160 hours picking up trash at an Orange County park as part of his sentence for carrying an illegal weapon in an airport last year.
The rapper, whose real name is Cordozar Calvin Broadus Jr., will do "everything from raking leaves to painting benches" in order to meet the 160 hours of community service he was ordered to perform.
"He's glad to make a contribution to Orange County."
Dogg chose the park site from a list of probation-approved community service sites and will be supervised by a park ranger.
Officials declined to release the name of the park, citing concerns that media and fans might interfere with the work.
"He feels 'whatever it takes' to get this behind him. His goal is to make music, not court appearances," his lawyer said.
The 35-year-old rapper pleaded guilty last month to one count of felony possession of a dangerous weapon. He was arrested Sept. 27, 2006, after the discovery of a collapsible baton in his computer bag at John Wayne Airport in Orange County.
Authorities said the baton was a dangerous weapon. Snoop Dogg said it was a prop for a video he was filming in New York.
The rapper asked to perform his community service by working with children.
However, the court and prosecutors did not want him involved with children, gangs or football.
The rapper already has his own non-profit youth football league.
"The purpose of a sentence is punishment and we don't consider it to be punishment for a person to participate in activities that are already part of their daily routine."

Incog-Negro

The NHL has undertaken an effort to increase star power at its game. Therefore they offered free tickets to celebrities. One celeb who took them up on the offer and attended the Stanley Cup Finals, was Snoop Dogg.
But why was he wearing that ridiculous fake moustache?
Was his PO in the crowd?

Noted Philosopher Weighs In

"It's a completely different scenario. (Rappers) are not talking about no collegiate basketball girls who have made it to the next level in education and sports. We're talking about hos that's in the hood that ain't doing shit, that's trying to get a nigg* for his money. These are two separate things. First of all, we ain't no old-ass white men that sit up on MSNBC going hard on black girls. We are rappers that have these songs coming from our minds and our souls that are relevant to what we feel. I will not let them mutha fuckas say we are in the same league as him. Kick him off the air forever."

Dogg Collared Again

Snoop Dogg can't stay out of trouble. He was arrested again last night on his way home after an appearance on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno."
The charges include possession of a gun, cocaine and marijuana. He also is accused of having a false compartment in a vehicle. The weapons charge is a felony because he'd be a convicted felon in possession of a firearm. He made bail of $60,000 and was released about seven hours after the arrest.

TON Wanted an Explanation

Snoop Dogg's fans were stunned when "American Idol" winner Taylor Hicks joined the rapper onstage in Alabama to perform "Gin and Juice."

Snoop Dogg, real name Calvin Broadus, was performing at Birmingham's City Stages festival on Saturday when the Alabama native joined him for a surprise duet.

The silver-haired soul singer played the harmonica during the song and performed some of his famous dance moves later in the rapper's set.

Snoopa-Doopa Can't Fly

Snoop Dogg and five other men were arrested for creating a disturbance in which 7 police officers were hurt at London's Heathrow Airport.
Snoop's entourage, totaling more than 30 people, was denied access to British Airways' first class lounge because some members of the party were flying coach.
The airline then refused to allow the group to board the plane to Johannesburg, South Africa where Snoop was supposed to perform at a concert to celebrate Nelson Mandela's release from prison.
Apparently, in the alterication Snoop and his crew began smashing bottles of booze on the floor in the duty-free shop.
I like to stop at the duty-free shop.

Fun Game for Charity

Refs had to end the last game of Saturday's Youth Football Classic at Dolphins Stadium early -- after a fight broke out. Rap stars Luther Campbell & Snoop Dog joined other rappers-turned-coaches to raise money for charity.

Unfortunately, Snoop's team & Luke's team started skirmishing on the field. Refs were forced to break up the fight & they eventually decided call to the game.
