I Knew All of These

The clever clue writers for Jeopardy! like the internet attention when Alex Trebek recites song lyrics, particularly rap and hip hop songs, which is why the show recently featured a category called "90s R&B hitmakers." Alex read the lyrics, contestants had to provide the performer of the song from which the lyrics came.

A Brand New -- Treadmill!

Not every "The Price is Right" contestant can win a brand new car, some players have to settle for a hot tub and a treadmill.
Which is what Danielle Perez got. Only problem, -- she's in a wheelchair.

I get that it's not really their fault, they have to have the prizes set up before it is decided who will be playing for them.
Also, I don't believe you actually have to take the prize you win, you can exchange it for a prize of an equal value, or some sum of cash.
But the optics of it look pretty bad, a lady in a wheelchair trying to get excited about a treadmill she can never use.

On a happier note, another recent "The Price is Right" blooper, when model Manuela Arbalaez accidentally gave away a car:

But she's smoking hot so she got away with it.

Coolest Winner in Jeopardy History

Leonard Cooper is now the coolest winner in Jeopardy history. Granted, there isn't a lot of competition for that title but Cooper won the teen tournament with an impressive amount of flair and bravado.

First of all, he absolutely did the right thing risking it all on that Daily Double. It was an all-or-nothing move, but he'd have to do one on final Jeopardy anyway, and this clue was likely to be easier.
Second, his victory of the $75,000 was not a sure thing. The other kid could have gotten it right and wagered enough to beat him, coupling in his huge advantage from the previous show.
Third, Chase might have known that first answer. When I was teaching him eyes, ears, nose, etc., I also taught him where his clavicle is. For Julian, I did sternum. Funny parlor trick.

Crude Sexual Jokes for $800 Please Alex

A Jeopardy! contestant gives an hilarious -- but wrong -- answer.

Did you hear Alex Trebek snicker when they guy said Donkey Punch? I believe Trebek has tried that move a time or two.

50 Years on TV and No One Knows Who He Is

Three idiots on Wheel of Fortune

Regis Philbrin and Kelly Ripa
Regis Philbin and Kelly Reepa
Regis Philmin and Kelly Ripa
Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripe-a

That was ridiculous. But I think what happened was it wasn't quite clear what the previous mistakes were so they kept trying to change their answers.

Ken Jennings Versus the Machine

Two of Jeopardy's most successful champions -- Ken Jennings and Brad Rutter -- will play two games against "Watson," a computer program developed by IBM's artificial intelligence team. The matches will be spread over three days that will air Feb. 14-16.
The "Jeopardy!" answer-and-question format will be a challenge. It often requires contestants to deal with subtleties, puns and riddles and come up with answers fast.
"Watson" is named for IBM founder Thomas J. Watson. It will look nothing like the computer "maid" on "The Jetsons." Rather, IBM said its on-screen appearance will be represented by a round avatar.
The computer has already been tested in some 50 games against past "Jeopardy!" champions. But neither IBM nor "Jeopardy!" representatives would say what "Watson's" record was.
The winner gets a $1 million prize. IBM said it would donate its winnings to charity, while Jennings and Rutter said they would give half of their prize money away.

What Took So Long?

Fastest solve in the history of Wheel of Fortune

Only one letter. Amazing. I love how Pat Sajak is completely dumbfounded when she says she wants to solve. She defends herself by saying it's a prize puzzle, but really, her move was riskier. She would have been better off spinning one more time, choosing a T and confirming her inkling about the puzzle. Pat was even more suprised when she got it right.

But the biggest shock is that this chick went to Penn State, so she's lucky she knows the alphabet.

Even Her Family Couldn't Clap and Say "Good Answer, Good Answer!" For This One

Best Family Feud answer ever. Steve Harvey was dumbfounded. I love how he stayed quiet for like a minute, and as soon as she broke the silence he yelled at her. Penis! Hilarious. I think this lady may have been taking the attention away from her awful family member. What the fuck is a para-educator? Paralegal, parallel, even para-Olympics is better than para-educator. So this lady knew they weren't going to win (she needed 177 points) so she just thought she'd have a funny moment and yell out "penis" when asked to name a body part men say is bigger than when they were 16.

Dumb Wheel of Fortune Guess

Self-potato? At least she immediately realized how dumb her answer was. Still funny though.

The Day the Whammy Died

When I was a kid the best part of being home sick from school was watching "Press Your Luck."
I must not have been sick on those days in June 1984 when the episode featuring Michael Larson aired.
Larson figured out the pattern to the Big Board and absolutely dominated the game.
Here are all 5 parts of the special 2-part episode of "Press Your Luck."
His domination begins 3 minutes into Part 2.
Read the story behind it all here.

Yes, She is a Natural Disaster

Valiant effort by this Jeopardy contestant. They really should have given him half credit for this one. Btw, the category was Baby Names.

Triple Jeopardy

First three way tie in Jeopardy history. The guy who was in first was a douche. He should have bet one dollar more. He was playing for a three way tie, like Pat Dye.
