The Watcher

A couple paid $1.3M for a house in Westfield, NJ and now they have fled the house and are suing the sellers for not disclosing that the house is being watched.

Shortly after they moved in the Broaddus family started receiving letters from someone called "The Watcher."

'My grandfather watched the house in the 1920s and my father watched in the 1960s. It is now my time,' wrote The Watcher. 'Do you need to fill the house with the young blood I requested?'
'Once I know their names I will call to them and draw them to me. I asked the (prior owners) to bring me young blood,' the first letter, dated June 5, read. 'And now I watch and wait for the day when they (sp) young blood will be mine again.'
'Have they found what is in the walls yet? In time they will. I am pleased to know your names and the names now of the young blood you have brought to me,' the letter reads.
'Will the young bloods play in the basement. Who has the rooms facing the street? I'll know as soon as you move in. It will help me to know who is in which bedroom then I can plan better.
Here's what drives me crazy about this. They are suing the previous owners for failing to disclose that "The Watcher" had been harassing them too.

The stalker has nothing to do with the house, he doesn't come with the house. It is a criminal engaging in criminal behavior. This is a matter for the police, not for the courts.

I'm sorry for their plight but I have to tag this "frivolous lawsuits."

ANOTHER teacher has sex with a youngin

OMAHA, Neb. - A former teacher pleaded guilty Wednesday to fleeing to Mexico with a 13-year-old student so she could have sex with him. Her plea was part of a deal to ensure she'll spend less than a decade in federal prison.

True Love

When it comes to tales of star-crossed lovers, Romeo and Juliet have nothing on Cedrick Wilson and Lindsey Paulat.
You may remember that they had a little misunderstanding back in January. Paulat held Wilson hostage in his home during a 12-hour armed standoff.
Maybe they hadn't seen each other since then, because when Wilson saw her again, he could hardly contain himself.
Wilson went into Patron Mexican Grill in Pine Township, PA and he saw Paulat sitting at the bar.
He pushed her on the shoulder and, when she turned around, punched her in the left side of her face and then quickly walked out.
Police caught up to Wilson at his house and charged him with simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct.
Wilson and Paulat have 1-year-old daughter, Anya.

Bob Ryan's Son Dies in Pakistan

Keith Ryan, the son of Boston Globe columnist and occassional PTI host Bob Ryan, died in Pakistan Monday.
Keith Ryan had been in Islamabad since December 2006 as a Homeland Security attache to the U.S. embassy.
He was scheduled to fly home Monday but earlier that day he was found dead.
U.S. officials said Keith committed suicide but according to the Boston Herald, Pakistani news agencies say that Keith was actually shot in the back of the head from several feet away.
As sad as it is to lose a child, it has to be 10 times worse under these circumstances. We feel very sad for Bob Ryan and for Keith's 8 year old triplets.

If Your Name Is Tracy Peterson, Be Worried

This story is so amazing and has so many nuances that I don't think I can explain it in a clever story fashion. I'm just going to run down the facts of the case.

23 year old Stacy Peterson is missing.


Two days before she went missing she told her aunt that she wanted a divorce from her husband.
She also told her sister than she feared for her life.
She is married to 53 year old Drew Peterson. They recently celebrated their 4th anniversary, meaning they got married when she was 19.
Drew is a Sergeant in the Bolingbrook, Illinois Police Department.
He told cops that Stacy called him Sunday night to say she was leaving and he thinks she ran away with another man.
Relatives said she was supposed to meet them Sunday but never did.
Her cell phone has not been used since Sunday night.
The couple has two kids, a 4-year old son named Anthony and a 2-year old daughter named Lacy. I'm not making that up.
Peterson has two sons from his previous marriage, Stacy is his 4th wife.
And speaking of marriage number 3, that wife, Kathleen Savio was found dead in her bathtub in 2004.
Peterson was bringing the sons back to Savio's house after a weekend visit but she didn't answer the door. When the finally got in the house she was dead in the tub.
Coroner's report ruled that she drowned, because her fingers showed pruning. But the tub was dry.
Peterson collected about $600,000 from life insurance policies and asset sales after her death.
If the worst is true, this guy killed his wife, married a girl 30 years younger, had a daughter, named her Lacy Peterson, knowing full well about the other Laci Peterson, then killed this wife too.

$11 Million is Not Enough

The Westboro Baptist Church of Kansas and its members were ordered to pay $10.9 million dollars to the family of Marine Lance Cpl. Matthew Snyder, who was killed in Iraq.
Members of the church protested at Snyder's funeral and the funerals of other soldiers killed in the line of duty.
They are not protesting the war, they say the war is God's punishment on this country for our tolerance of homosexuality.
Armed with signs that say God Hates Fags (godhatesfags.com is their website), they plan to keep protesting military funerals.
There's no point in expressing how I feel about these people because any reasonable person knows how fucked up these wackos are.
The problem is they're disrupting the funerals of brave men and women who are dying to protect the rights (free speech, free assembly) which they are hiding behind.

What The Fuck Is Wrong With People?

Normally I try to keep this blog fun and light but every once in a while I come across a story that sickens me to the point that I have to share it.

A South Carolina woman has been charged with homicide by child abuse after the bodies of her two young children were found wrapped in trash bags under a sink.
Police believe Sametta Heyward left the children in a hot car while she was at work. Investigators found a note Heyward left at her apartment, explaining that she took the children to work because her plans for a baby sitter fell through.

That's Fucked Up

First barstoolsports rips Pizza Parlor Derek and fires him for a B- column, then they make fun of Pizza Parlor KeriAnn's looks at her Celtics Dance Team tryout. This means war. If you think they're going to get away with this then you haven't met Pizza Parlor Mr. Lynch (we show respect). I expect Pizza Parlor Daren is flying back from Columbus to shove a pommel horse up somebody's ass.
