I'm not saying I do either of these things but which is grosser, urinating in the shower or leaving floaters in the toilet due to the failure to check and see if a second flush is needed?

That shouldn't even need a vote. It's all 'waste' water going to the same treatment plant.
I voted for the shower and here's why - a floater is totally, undeniably disgusting, but it's not touching you in any way. Yes, the shower drain obviously rinses the urine away, but I don't like the idea of standing naked and cleaning myself where someone has just peed. But by the vote and ton's comment I can see I'm in the minority here.
