Patriotism Pays
On the way out of Vegas for the Conch's bachelor party I stopped by the sportsbook to pick up some long-term wagers to make this summer's sporting events more fun. My bet-with-your-heart wager on the USA to win group C pays off to the tune of 2.5 to 1. Not bad.

Does that mean you won $25? I don't know how this betting stuff works. Gambling gene was only passed onto TallSkott. I got the Sci-Fi nerd gene instead.
I remembered somebody bet US to win the group...wasnt sure if you were you or Reissberg.
What other long-term bets did you make?

I have Lesnar over Carwin (-180), Brazil in World Cup (+350), Ohio State in BCS (+400), Denny Hamlin to win the Sprint Cup (+1200) and Purdue (+1200) and Syracuse (+2500) to win the tournament.
