This violent brawl broke out during one of the games of the Mets-Phillies series (one site says it was the 11-10 game but the video was clearly shot at night). It's hard to tell who started it and who's involved but I assume it was Mets vs. Phillies fans, at least at first. The best part comes when security thinks they have it broken up and then they get attacked. Listen for the ECW! chant.

And here's my midwest ignorance coming in but what does ECW stand for?
ECW stands for Extreme Championship Wrestling, a Philadelphia based outlet where many of wrestling's superstars got their start. Whenever something extreme happened, that wouldn't have happened in WWF (at the time) or WCW, fans would chant ECW, similar to the Jerry! chants on the Springer show.
Now WWE owns ECW and I don't even think they do anything with it.
