Seth Petruzelli, the man who knocked out Kimbo Slice, dressed up as his vanquished foe for Halloween.

yeah, that's pretty crazy. Funny, but still crazy.
I'm confused, why is dressing up in blackface poor taste? And how could it possibly be illegal? No white person could buy one of those Obama masks I saw on the news on Halloween?? I know I'm probably missing the joke here...
It's not dressing up as a black peron by wearing a mask, it's this particular kind of makeup, called blackface.
Wikipedia actually has a very good entry on blackface.
It symbolizes a time when white actors would dress up as black people, paint their faces, exaggerate their lips, and behave like the worst black stereotypes.
