Here's what I ate at the Big E this year
Start off with the turkey leg
Wash it down with a slushie
Fried Oreos (my favorite, tied with the turkey leg)
New England Clam Chowder, in what used to be a bread bowl
Tried the fried jelly beans
It was really only 2 maybe 3 jelly beans and a lot of dough. Sort of like a jelly donut, a little sweetness in a donut.
I also tried the fried butter which wasn't really good at all. It was just really greasy dough.
And of course we have to teach the youth.

Looks delicious...was there a cholesterol screening booth?

What is the Big E
damn, good stuff. Never heard of 'fried butter'. Next, someone will try to market 'fried oil' to just go straight to the source.
I find it hard to believe someone from Maine is not familiar with the Big E(xposition). It serves as the state fair for all the New England states.
