Women Fixed This Race
What are the chances of a horse named "My Wife Knows Everything" and a horse named "The Wife Doesn't Know" being in the same race, and finishing 1-2. The fix had to be in, especially when "My Wife Knows Everything" finished in front.
I know the women loved this but I'll take Hoof Hearted any day.

30 Years Ago Today
On June 10, 1978 Affirmed edged out Alydar at the Belmont Stakes to win the Triple Crown, a feat no one has been able to duplicate since.

Also on June 10, 1978, Mrs. Poop was born. Also a feat no one has been able to duplicate since.
Happy Birthday!

Which Implants?
Before the Kentucky Derby got ruined there was a great shot of Kent Desormeaux's wife, cheering in the stands. The very lovely Mrs. Desormeaux looked stunning in a strapless dress, but in her emotion after the victory she raised her arms triumphantly and was hugged tightly at the same time, almost leading to a wardrobe malfunction.
Later it seemed as if Tom Hammond was making a reference to those breasts we almost saw:

Best Horse Name Ever
Mrs. Poop and I have been joking about this one for years. I'm glad someone finally found the clip.

Why I Don't Play Fantasy Sports
Master Bates has Ryan Dempster on his fantasy team.
Brother-in-law Derick turned down tickets to Saturday's game because Glavine is on his fantasy team and either his pitcher gets bombed or his team loses (yes, Step On Me married a Yankees fan), so he'd rather not be there for that.
I suspect his decision was also influenced by his desire to watch and wager on the Preakness.

Horsey Recap
Despite some trouble with the link, last's week Derby game on ESPN attracted 6 contestants.
Pa Beers got a respectable 3 out of 6 races correct, and Josh got the Derby right, but Brother-in-law Derick won our group with 4 correct and made the leaderboard but fell short of the prizes.
That makes sense since he probably knows 33% more than Beers about horse racing and 4 times as much as I do.

Derby Day
Poopheads, it's time to play the ponies. ESPN has a pick 6 game and of course I've created a group called Paul's Poop. It's best to follow that link because the game is kind of hidden on ESPN's website.
Here's how it works. You have 15 picks to spread out over the last 6 races on Derby Saturday, the last race of course being the Derby. You have to pick all 6 winners, or as many as possible.
Hopefully, we can get resident experts Pa Beers and Brother-in-law Derick into the group for this one.
Michael will put his 2-game winning streak on the line.
