A Third of the Way Through

The Mets have now played 54 games, one third of the season. With a 33-21 record that translates into a 99-63 record for the season. Let's hope that keeps up. Here's a look at how some Mets would finish if they keep up their current pace.

Jose Reyes: 84 RBI and 66 stolen bases.
Carlos Delgado: 45 homers and 102 RBI, also 153 Ks.
David Wright: 24 homers and 108 RBI.
Cliff Floyd: 18 homers and 57 RBI.
Xavier Nady: 27 homers and 66 RBI.
Carlos Beltran: 42 homers and 111 RBI. (And he has the fewest at bats of any of these players)
Jose Valentin: 12 homers and 48 RBI in 225 at bats. (He should end up with a lot more at bats than that though.)

Tom Glavine will be 24-6 in 240 innings.
Pedro will be 15-3 in 225 innings.
Duaner Sanchez will be 12-0.
Billy Wagner will have 33 saves.

Most of these numbers sound good to me, especially the 99 wins.
