Biggest Scam Ever

I have been saying for years that the biggest scam perpetrated on the American public since one-hour martinizing is bottled water.
I don't understand why you would pay for something that you could get for free. And it's much easier to get it from the tap than from a store, and much better for the environment and 100 other reasons to just drink tap water.
Now here's one more: Aquafina is tap water.

Suckaz!

It only starts as tap water, but goes through a filtration process to take the big floating turds out, unlike what comes out of your kitchen sink.

Personally, we have filtered water coming out of our fridge and I usually drink that, but when I'm on the go or on the golf course it's pretty hard to reach that so yes, I drink bottled water. Not really much of a choice.

its the bottle part that creates sales more than the water part

I don't think this is news, it is well documented that both coke and pepsi realized years ago that they were purifying water for soda and that they can bottle the water they are already purifying and sell it for a profit as dasani and aquafina respectively. Reverse Osmosis Double Filtered water presumably tastes better than tap water.

Also, when making coffee, using spring water or distilled water makes a big difference. I encountered this when I bought a great coffee machine and was freshly grinding beans and my coffee was terrible. I went to the store bought a bottle of spring water. The coffee made with the spring water was far superior than the coffee made with the water from the Croton Reservoir. I have to say though, that the water from the Delaware River reservoirs in upstate new york creates pretty good coffee.

Adubya lives in Wisconsin where in 1993 they had an outbreak of cryptosporidium in the water and 400,000 people got explosive diarrhea.
That's enough to make people switch to bottled.
Tap water tastes great, bottled water is scam. You can get filters to do the same thing that the big companies' filtration plants do, roughly.

Yeah, if possible, just use a filter. The process of creating the plastic...then the fact that the plastic is still around in some form afterwards is creating some big issues, and ads to problems like a huge plastic cluster twice the size of texas floating around the pacific, no joke
