Respect the Man's Wishes

Ryan Church, being the fine, upstanding citizen that he is, offered to help the fiance of a crane operator who died in the crane collapse on Manhattan's Upper East Side.
But Janine Belcastro rejected Church's help because her fiance, Donald Leo was a Yankees fan.
"Don was a die-hard Yankee fan," Belcastro said in a statement. "It would not respect his memory if he accepted this."
But Belcastro said she "greatly appreciated" the offer.
Not surprisingly, Leo was from Staten Island.
Church says he'll find another charity.

I want to go on record right now to say I admire his stance. If I get killed in an accident I do not want Mrs. Poop accepting money from a Yankee, especially not Derek Jeter.
