Faces of Dejection

The somber looks on the faces of the Mets and the Mets fans as they closed Shea Stadium in horrific fashion, completing their second straight late season collapse.

Maybe CitiField will change their fortunes. I almost feel relieved that this year is over.

Go Steelers.

The above comment is a sad state of affairs as it demonstrates that over the last two years, the Mets have turned a place of miracles to a place associated with misfortune. Would that ball have gotten by Buckner if the game was played on CitiField? Shea has treated the Mets well, its the Mets and Aramark who have disgraced it.

To do list:

1. Sign Orlando Hudson (and get rid of Luis Castillo)

2. Get rid of the 3 Musketeeers: Heilman, Blowenweis, and Dirty Sanchez (screw it, Felicano too!)

3. Build the bullpen from within the organization (Stokes, Parnell, Kunz), keep Ayala, Joe Smith, and trade for a couple decent veterans)

4. K-Rod?

5. Bye Bye Pedro

6. Bye Bye Ollie (5 years/$50 million? I'll pass).

7. Pick up Delgado's option even though he won't show up until July. Teixiera aint worth it.

8. Corner Outfield? Get rid of Church he stinks. Sign somebody...no idea who.

9. Sign Derek Lowe

10. Get Willie Back.

11. Just kidding.

12. Who is the "concierge"?

I forgot:

13. Get rid of the 3rd base coach. He is clueless.

The Concierge should be the head of concessions at citifield
