Don Imus is under fire for referring to members of the Rutgers women's basketball team as "nappy headed hos."
I guess it's ok to make fun of people's appearance but when you are white and you call black women hos, that's racist.
Now every black person and half the white people in America want Imus to be fired.
I hate when people call for someone to be fired.
If you don't like what he said, don't listen to his show. Boycott NBC and WFAN if you are that mad. Make your voice heard that way. I think it would be more effective if they actually staged a real boycott, and it succeeded, it would show how much power they really have.
Imus will not get fired and his ratings will not suffer.

This Imus thing is going to far. Imus has been making fun of people (all people) for years and his Nappy Headed Hos comment was not racist..maybe a little strong and maybe sexist for calling the women Hos but not racist. He did not call them Nappy Headed Niggers...that would have been racist. Sharpton, Jackson and all their cronies should just shut the fuck up and stop calling for the firing of one of the most generous personalities on the airwaves. You don't like it don't listen. Sharpton is the racist and no one is calling for the firing of his fat ass.
Bottom line is there are lines that shouldn't be crossed and by him doing so is no exception!!! Neither it is not exception when Al Sharpton does it!!! That's the problem with this country where often one race excerise there power in covert and discriminating ways!!! The fact of the matter is its the level of ignorance that listens to person like them and try to be an unofficial advocate for their statements when you know nothing about that person in general! Often times when persons try to defend someone for being out of line they are often trying to justify their idiotic belief of supremacy when there is no such thing. So if one race is often lumped together in a derogatory fashion that goes for all races, colors, and creeds. It's just stupidity for anyone to take sides with hypocrites and you my man are no exceptions as well as those that are taking Al Sharpton side of the matter. Real Talk, both sides need to shut up and by doing so is to not to give idiots such as you idol Mr. Imus no air play because if you silence an idiot then he has no power and its about time for some of this to change an if he has to be made the example then so be it!!!! As far as I am concern Mr. Imus and you as well can go lay with Lucifer because that is the culprit behind all of this unnecessary demographical stereotyping. So follow your own advice and do what you suggested about Sharpton, Jackson, and their cronies because if your are giving your advise out so freely then you should be familiar with this saying: "You can always tell who is a fool because they never follow their own advise."
