Joe Will Stay
Seems the Yankees have decided to keep Joe Torre for next year. The definition of insanity is doing the same things and expecting different results. I think it has been proven that Joe Torre can't motivate these guys they have, so unless they are planning to overhaul the entire roster (more than just A-Rod and Sheff, though that's a good start) they are probably going to have the same flameout next October.

The whole conversation is ridiculous. When the Yankee's won 4 WS in 5 years, Torre got way too much credit ... and now he gets way too much blame.
They won the most games of any team in baseball with a flawed roster and serious injuries.
They lost b/c they have no pitching. Lou Piniella is not going to make A-Rod hit in the clutch.
All the years they won was b/c of pitching.
