Plane Crash

Yankee pitcher Cory Lidle died when a small plane he was in (not sure if he was piloting) crashed into a Manhattan apartment building. At first I was relieved that this was not an act of terrorism but then saddened when I learned a couple hours later that Lidle was on the plane.
Sad to see anyone die in this fashion but this feels even a little stranger to me. On Monday I heard Mike and the Mad Dog rip Lidle a new one over some comments in the paper. The quotes attributed to Lidle called the Yankees unprepared, but Lidle claims that wasn't a knock on Joe Torre. Lidle was clearly defensive and the two jerks made him look like a fool.
Today however they did a nice tribute to Lidle by getting a lot of his former teammates and coaches on to talk about him.
