Jae Seo-bull Lets Us Down
My brother's fantasy team has fallen to 0-2 in part to my bad decision making. After last Sunday's debacle, I advised Jordan to sit Bartolo Colon this week fearing injury. We replaced him with Jae Seo. Seo gets bombed early in the week but has a chance to redeem himself. Going into last night's game we needed Seo to pitch either 7 shutout innings or strike out 5 for the win. He gave up two runs, and struck out 3. So we were down 1 strikeout. But we still had Tim Worrell. He entered the game in the bottom of the 8th, got a 2 strike count, but didn't get the strike out. Then in the ninth he again had two strikes on a hitter but the third base umpire said the batter didn't go around. After two more groundouts the dream was over. The Garden State League's first dynasty may be in for a rough season.
